Five nominated to fill Fourth District Court vacancy

Provo, Utah: The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Utah Fourth Judicial District has selected five candidates to be sent to the Governor to fill a vacancy on the court. The candidates are: M. James Brady, partner of the firm Bradford & Brady; Jared Eldridge, Juab County Attorney and Nephi City Prosecutor; Donna Kelly, deputy Utah County attorney; Leslie W. Slaugh, attorney and shareholder of the firm Howard, Lewis & Petersen; and Gary R. Williams, an Ogden city attorney. The appointed candidate will replace Judge Howard Maetani, who retired on January 1, 2010.[1]
