The Nursing Home Rights, also known as the Protecting Rights of Abused or Neglected Nursing Home Residents, 03-11, did not appear on the November 4, 2008 statewide ballot in Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure would have protected the rights of nursing home patients legal rights for compensation for abuse, neglect or wrongful death from being restricted either by law or by contract.[1]
Support
The Floridians for Patient Protection political committee sponsored the initiative. The group was tied to the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.[2]

The petition was approved by the Florida Secretary of State. It did not make the ballot.
