The Florida School Board Attorneys Association (FSBAA) is an organization of attorneys that represent the state of Florida's 67 school districts. According the FSBAA's website, members meet quarterly to address current legal issues affecting school boards. The FSBAA advises school boards on legal matters, such as the legality of banning energy drinks from schools.[1]
The FSBAA provides the C. Graham Carothers Award of Excellence for excellence in the legal profession.[2]
Background
As of November 2025, the FSBAA states that its mission is to "address the Association on current issues affecting school boards and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information amongst the members."[3] School districts pay out of their budgets for FSBAA membership.[4]
