Florida Supreme Court reprimands circuit court judge
April 7, 2010
Florida: The Florida Supreme Court publicly reprimanded Judge Angela C. Dempsey on Wednesday, April 7, for running misleading campaign ads during her 2008 bid for the judgeship. The ads, the state Supreme Court says, manifested in what they say is, an, "ethical failure that damaged the public's trust and confidence." The ads were found erroneous on the grounds that they exaggerated Dempsey's legal experience.[1]
