The Florida lieutenant gubernatorial election of 2010 was held on November 2, 2010. The primary election date was August 24. June 18 was the deadline for filing nomination papers.[1]
Republican Jennifer Carroll, running with Rick Scott, won the general election and took office as the Lieutenant Governor in January 2011.
Florida is among the 25 states where the lt. governor is elected on the same ticket as the governor.
