Chris Steinbruck is the superintendent of the Flour Bluff Independent School District. He was appointed on October 12, 2023. His previous career experience includes working as the district's Athletic Director.[1]

Past superintendents

  • Velma Soliz-Garcia was the superintendent of the Flour Bluff Independent School District from 2021 until her resignation on October 12, 2023.[1] Soliz-Garcia's previous career experience includes working as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at Gregory-Portland and Alice Independent School Districts.[2]
  • David Freeman was the superintendent of the Flour Bluff Independent School District from 2019 to 2021.[3] Freeman's previous career experience included working as the superintendent of the Montague Independent School District, the chief academic officer of the Wichita Falls Independent School District, and an assistant principal in the Muenster Independent Schools District.[4]
  • Joe Kelley was the interim superintendent of the Flour Bluff Independent School District from 2018 to 2019. Kelley's previous career experience included working as the district's full superintendent.[5]
  • Brian Schuss was the superintendent of the Flour Bluff Independent School District from 2016 to 2018.[5][6]
