Forrest James Turpen
Forrest James Turpen (also known as Frosty) is a member of the Owasso Public Schools Board of Education in Oklahoma, representing Ward 5. He assumed office in 1995. His current term ends in 2030.
Turpen won re-election to the Owasso Public Schools Board of Education to represent Ward 5 in Oklahoma outright in the primary on February 11, 2025, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Biography
Turpen attended Owasso Public Schools and earned a degree in social studies from the University of Tulsa. Turpen is the president of Turpen and Associates, which distributes engineered plastic and rubber components. He previously taught and coached at Broken Arrow Public Schools for a year. Turpen and his wife, Gayla, have three children who attend district schools.[1]
