Two seats on the Fort Worth Independent School District school board in Texas were up for special election for three-year unexpired terms on May 7, 2022. A runoff was scheduled for June 18, 2022.
The District 4 special election became necessary after Daphne Brookins died on November 5, 2021.[1] The filing deadline for this election was March 7, 2022.
On March 8, 2022, District 1 incumbent Jacinto Ramos Jr. announced that he would resign from the school board.[2] The filing deadline for this election was March 28, 2022.
