Fort Zumwalt School District Bond Issue Question (April 2013)

A Fort Zumwalt School District Bond Issue question was approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in St. Charles County, which is in Missouri.
This measure authorized the Fort Zumwalt School District to increase its debt by $15 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund construction, repair, improvement, extension and renovation projects in the district as outlined below in the text of the question.
This measure requires a 4/7ths (57.1%) majority approval rate to pass.[1]

“ | Shall The Board of Education of the Fort Zumwalt School District of St. Charles County, Missouri borrow money in the amount of $15,000,000 for the purpose of constructing, repairing, improving, extending, renovating, purchasing, furnishing, and equipping schoolhouse sites, buildings, grounds and related facilities for school purposes? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the school district is estimated to remain unchanged at the current rate of $0.65 per $100 assessed valuation of real and personal property.[1][2] | ” |
