Four appointed to Utah's Second Judicial District

Utah: Governor Gary Herbert appointed four individuals to the Utah Second Judicial District late last week. They are:

  • Jeffrey J. Noland, a managing attorney at a private law firm, will replace Juvenile Court judge Stephen A. Van Dyke;
  • David R. Hamilton, a private practice attorney, will replace Jon M. Memmott; and
  • Noel S. Hyde, a private practice attorney, will replace District Court judge Pamela G. Heffernan.

All these nominees must be confirmed by the Utah Senate before joining the court.[1]
