Frances Koncilja
Frances Koncilja is a former member of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, the state body charged with regulating the state's utility companies. She was first appointed on January 5, 2016 and served a full four-year term.[1]
On January 3, 2020, Gov. Jared Polis announced that he would not be reappointing Koncilja to the position at the end of her term on January 13, 2020.[2]
Biography
Koncilja's professional experience includes working as a Colorado attorney for over 35 years, including more than 20 years as the owner of her own law firm, Koncilja Law Firm, P.C. In addition to her private practice, Koncilja has served on the Colorado Lottery Commission and the Colorado Economic Development Commission.[3][4]
