The election in Springfield featured three of the seven seats on the board up for general election on April 7, 2015. Incumbent Bruce Renner ran for re-election against challengers Patty Ingold, Swayne Benson Loftis, Jill Patterson and Francine Pratt for the three at-large seats. Patterson, Pratt and Renner defeated the other two candidates to win the election.
