Francis A. Honrath was a magistrate judge of the Third District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1997 and served Lyon County.[1]
Education
Honrath received his undergraduate degree from Moorhead State University in 1977 and his law degree from Creighton University in 1981. He is now married with seven children.[1]
Career
Honrath worked as a Lyon County attorney and judicial hospitalization referee and as the president of the State Savings Bank in Bedford, IA prior to his appointment to the bench in 1997. He has also worked as a private practice lawyer.[1]
