Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[1] Hester Jackson-McCray defeated Francis J. Miller in the Democratic primary. Ashley Henley defeated incumbent Pat Nelson in the Republican primary. Henley ran unchallenged in the District 40 general election. Michael McField (D) was removed from the candidate list before the primary.
