Francis J. Murray, Jr. was an associate justice of the Rhode Island Family Court. He was appointed to the court in November 1994 by former Governor Bruce Sundlun. Murray retired from the bench on December 31, 2014.

Education

Murray received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and his J.D. degree from the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now part of the University of New Hampshire School of Law).

Career

Prior to his judicial career, Murray served as an assistant legal counsel to former Governor J. Joseph Garrahy.
