Francis "Frank" Maher (b. February 28, 1966) is a former Republican member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 34 from 2008 to 2013.

Biography

Maher earned his Associates Equivalent in Electronics from technical college. His professional experience included working as a Field Service Technician for Central Scale Company from 1994 to 1998.[1]

Maher ran for re-election in District 34. He defeated Paul R. Mcfadden in the Republican primary on September 11, 2012. Maher was defeated by Catherine Cool Rumsey (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]

Maher was re-elected in District 34. He defeated Democrat Jon Sawyer in the November 2 general election. He was unopposed in the September 14 Republican primary.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Maher was re-elected to the 34th District Seat in the Rhode Island State Senate.[4] Maher raised $4,144 for his campaign, while Osborne raised $250.[5]
