Francis Troy is a judge for Position 1 of the Oregon 4th Judicial District Circuit Court. Troy assumed office on September 11, 2019. Troy's current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Troy won re-election for the Position 1 judge of the Oregon 4th Judicial District Circuit Court outright in the primary on May 19, 2020, after the general election was canceled.

Troy was appointed to the Multnomah County Circuit Court on September 11, 2019 by Gov. Kate Brown (D) to replace Katherine Tennyson.[1]

Education

Troy earned a bachelor's degree from the College of William & Mary, and a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.[1]

Career

Prior to his appointment to the Multnomah County Circuit Court, Troy worked as a juvenile law attorney at Troy & Rosenberg, PC since 2008. He has also practiced law at David W. Owens P.C. & Associates, Tennyson & Winemiller, and Kliewer & Associates.[1]
