Francisco Heredia
Francisco Heredia is a member of the Mesa City Council in Arizona, representing District 3. He assumed office on September 28, 2017. His current term ends in 2029.
Heredia won re-election to the Mesa City Council to represent District 3 in Arizona outright in the primary on July 30, 2024, after the general election was canceled.
Heredia was appointed by the Mesa City Council on September 28, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the removal of Ryan Winkle.[1]
Biography
Heredia earned an undergraduate degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from Arizona State University.[2]
At the time of his appointment in 2017, Heredia owned his own consulting firm. His professional experience includes work for the Maricopa County Recorder's Office and the U.S. Census Bureau and as the national field director for Mi Familia Vota and One Arizona, the KidsCare outreach coordinator for the Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System, and a prevention specialist for Chicanos Por La Causa. Heredia has also served as a member of the Chandler Housing and Human Services Commission and the State of Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners.[2]
