I am Francisco Mayoral, a first-generation immigrant who graduated from Hilltop High School and served in the Marine Corps. I have seen how both major parties have turned what was once the "finest" city in America into something reminiscent of the third world, promising change every election year, despite being the ones in power. I have lived and grown up on the same street all my life, even after returning from my service, I did not once see my street or area change. Without mentioning the smell, the roads are horrible, the streets lack lighting, and some areas don't even have sidewalks. What made me run for this office was not just the issues I've stated, but the fact that our city's leadership keeps ignoring and/or creating these issues while selling themselves as the solution.
  • To lower the salaries of the Mayor, Council and other top positions as they should make more than congressmen while most San Diegans can't afford to live in their city.
  • Fix the thousands of damaged or faulty infrastructure that the city keeps ignoring while also putting a check to the councils unnecessary spending .
  • To create a third political party after the election and provide a new option for votes and a way to fight back against the democrat-republican oligarchy that has not once benefitted the common citizen.
-economic growth and financial accountability

-public infrastructure and utilities
-Safety
-Transportation and mobility
-Housing
-Land use and conservation
-Disaster prevention and preparedness
-Job creation
-Waste management and public hygiene

-Homelessness
I look up to my father, who has been a hard worker all his life and was able to sustain a family of five and work 3 jobs at once.
Disciplined, fair, pragmatic, zeal, loyal and unwilling to compromise ideals or those who follow them
To keep the best interests of their district and the city in general, while using the position to serve the community and never themselves.
My very first job was at 18 when I served in the US Marine Corps and held the job for just over a year due to an injury.
City council members are usually also members of other boards and commissions (SANDAG, MTS), meaning that they are responsible for more things than people think of.
While experience can be beneficial, this office is often regarded as the way to build it .
Military experience might be one of the most helpful due to the significant income and jobs created by the many bases in San Diego.
It is the deciding office for several issues, from appointments and infrastructure to the city's budget.
