Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am deeply committed to Clark County, being both a local business owner and a lifelong resident of Las Vegas. As a former student of CCSD and an active parent with a child currently enrolled in the district, my roots run deep.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Safety is my top priority.
• Zip code should not dictate the level of education a student can receive.
• A good education is one of the fastest ways out of poverty

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Safety.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

I am a mix of too many to recommend just one item of media. I like Thomas Sowell, Jordan Peterson, and Larry Elder.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Transparency, accountability, responsibility and a sense of realism.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Integrity, transparency, accountability, common sense, and intellect.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

The safety of students, faculty, and staff members and implementing policies that truly benefit everyone in the school system.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Safer schools and better curriculum for the future of our children.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

The murder of Tupac. I was 11 or 12.

Dyslexia and ADHD

Write policies that truly benefit everyone in the school district

Who are your constituents?

Clark County District C

How would you support the diverse needs of your district’s students, faculty, staff, and community?

I would implement the best policies that have the highest probable outcomes of success for everyone.

How will you build relationships with members of the broader community? Which groups, organizations, stakeholders will you specifically target?

I will be reaching out to all constituents both online and in person for ideas, solutions which will create an environment of transparency and open communication.

What strategies or plans would you advance to ensure the schools are properly funded?

Cut the administrative fat at the top, do a comprehensive audit to see where our money is actually going then reallocate from there.

What principles drive your policies for safety in schools?

Staff and student safety comes first as it’s what creates a healthy learning environment so students and staff can actually focus on the tasks at hand.

How might you support the mental health needs of students/faculty/staff?

I would ensure we have good counselors and psychologists that can propel diagnose all students, faculty, and staff so they can get the help that they need.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

President of Veteran’s in Politics Steve Sanson (personal endorsement), Mackin Wagon, Tru9 BBQ, In the Game Barbershop, Moms for Liberty, and JT Lawn Care Services.

Describe your ideal learning environment for students.

A blend of computer and paper academics with no behavioral disruptions in class.

How do you feel like your school district handled the coronavirus pandemic? What, if anything, would you do differently in the future?

I think they handled it horribly. I would keep schools open and eliminate mask mandates. This way those that don’t feel comfortable going to campus can stay home and learn/work remotely, those that feel comfortable enough to go on campus but still feel risky being around a lot of people can wear a mask if they would like to, and those that feel comfortable going to school/ work as normal can do so without penalty or negative judgement.

What will you do to build a relationship with parents in the district?

I will keep open lines of communication online and in person.

What are your preferred strategies for faculty, staff, and administration recruitment?

It is the key to ensuring voters trust the system they are voting into.
