2016
Three of the seven seats on the Colton Joint Unified School District Board of Education were supposed to be up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. The election was canceled, however, due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Patt Haro, Frank Ibarra, and Kent Taylor were the only candidates to file for the Area 1, 2, and 3 seats, respectively. Because of this, they were re-elected by default.[1]
