I’m Frank, in both name and disposition. My family has called the Rio Grande Valley home for at least five generations, and has continuously served our community for over one hundred years. They have instilled in me the virtues of justice, fortitude, temperance, and wisdom. I served our country in the military. Through my military service, I learned how to lead. I bring this mentality to everything that I do. In law school, I focused on constitutional law and met my wife, Shauna. We returned to live in the Valley to raise our children. I am committed to making our community safer and more prosperous for generations to come. In my legal career I have worked on both sides of the criminal justice system, serving as a prosecutor and as a criminal defense attorney. I will judge with constitutional integrity, transparency, and respect for every litigant. I hope to earn your vote.
  • Our country is strongest when we are committed to our constitutional principles. Frank will firmly uphold the integrity of our courts by safeguarding rights, preserving our values, and administering justice.
  • Regardless of outcome, every side in a court case must be fairly heard. Frank will ensure that every person who comes before the court is treated with dignity, respect, and impartiality.
  • Judges must weigh evidence carefully, follow the law, and rule without outside pressure or personal preference. Frank will ensure justice is achieved through frank decisions without fear or favor.
As a judge, I won’t craft public policy because that’s the job of the Legislature. My responsibility will be to apply the law fairly and impartially in every case. What I am passionate about is how justice is delivered: making sure our courts are accessible, efficient, and respectful to everyone who walks through the door. I believe strongly in due process, equal treatment under the law, and judicial independence. No matter who you are, or who you know, you should receive the same fair hearing and a decision based on the law and the facts.
