Frank Murray
Frank Jerome Murray (1904-1995) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He joined the court in 1967 after an appointment by Lyndon Johnson. At the time of appointment, he served as an Associate justice, Superior Court of Massachusetts. He assumed senior status on July 15, 1977. He continued serving until his death on February 12, 1995.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments
District of Massachusetts
President Lyndon B. Johnson nominated Murray on February 21, 1967, to a seat vacated by George Clinton Sweeney; he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on April 5, 1967, and received commission on April 5, 1967. He assumed senior status on July 15, 1977. He continued serving until his death on February 12, 1995. He was succeeded to this post by David Mazzone.[1]
