As a dedicated and seasoned Navy Chief Petty Officer, I have a proven track record of leadership and service. My commitment to the community is evidenced by my tenure on the Ewa Neighborhood Board from 2011 to 2013 and nearly a decade of service at Hawaiian Electric Company. Today, I bring my expertise to the management team of a local shopping center in Waipahu, contributing to the vibrant commercial life of our area.

My leadership extends beyond the professional realm. As an elder at Island Family Christian Church for over six years, including two challenging years during the pandemic, I have been a steadfast supporter of our community’s spiritual well-being. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science, a Master of Divinity, and doctoral training as an Education Specialist. I am an ordained minister with the Restoration Movement of Christian Churches. My unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and a biblical foundation guide my life, ensuring that integrity shapes every decision I make, both personally and professionally.

Since 1999, my wife and I have proudly called Ewa Beach our home. Our nearly 29-year marriage, which began here on Oahu, blessed us with a beautiful daughter, who will soon turn 28. She recently married an active-duty Marine recruiter, and they are raising our grandson in Indiana, with another grandchild on the way. I understand the challenges and rewards of raising a family in Hawaii and am committed to making our community a place where families can thrive.
  • The key issue facing our society today is the erosion of family values and moral education. We must reintroduce God into our lives and strengthen our families as the cornerstone of personal development and the key ingredient in creating a strong and safe community, as it should be. By promoting spiritual values and principles, including the acknowledgment of God's importance, we can foster a more cohesive and morally grounded society that will thrive and not just strive to exist.
  • Let's channel our energy into boosting Ewa Beach's economy by attracting high-paying industries to the Westside. Tourism will always be a cornerstone of our islands, it's crucial to diversify. We can build on our rich agricultural history and invest in those who appreciate our cultural significance and can harness the economic potential of our ocean environment. Additionally, we must enhance the education of our youth, ensuring they are prepared for careers in these lucrative fields. By taking these steps, we can offer a secure and prosperous future for Ewa Beach and its residents.
  • Transparency is essential for building trust between your elected officials and you, the people we work for. As your representative, I will be committed to open, honest, and accountable governance. You deserve to know and have a say in how decisions are made, how funds are allocated, and how policies will impact you.
Every life is precious, from babies in the womb to our kapuna, the guardians of our island wisdom. Science proved there is a spark of energy that ignites at conception—God's way of blessing a new life. I pledge to protect this life, and that of the kapuna, with all my efforts. Abortion is murder, a modern form of the ancient malediction of child sacrifice. In the same way assisted suicide is an abomination against our kapuna. We must spread the message that there are far better options that save lives and nurture new families.
The only book I can recommend is the Bible and its teaching on basic physical and spiritual development and morality.
- Integrity, doing the right thing even when no one is looking because it is required of us as your representative.

- Faith in God, without this I cannot possibly stand in the gap. This is where my strength comes from standing against those who do not have your best interests at heart.

- Collaboration and diplomacy, because we have to work together. We need to stand for the people and not a party rhetoric.
To represent and serve all the residents of Ewa Beach, from the child in the womb to our kapuna. We are called to introduce bills, and support laws and amendments, that promote the best interests of the people of Ewa Beach, Lower Villages, West Lock, Ewa by Gentry, and Iroquois Point. It is my job, or the job of anyone elected to this position, to actively listen to the people and work to make their lives better.
Of all the fictional characters that I know, the one that I would most want to be is Gandalf the Gray from the Lord of the Rings because he serves the light and has undeniable faith in his friends.
The diversification of the economy and the plight to lower the cost of living here in the island is the largest challenges we need to overcome.
House Committee on Corrections, Military, & Veterans, House Committee on Education, House Committee on Labor & Government Operations.
First off, great leadership starts with letting those you are accountable to know what is happening with details that have an impact on them. I will advocate for measures that increase transparency. I will hold regular town hall meetings, virtual talk story sessions (if needed), make public records accessible, and create a clear line of communication about legislative processes. By involving the community in decision-making and being upfront about challenges and opportunities, we can build the trust and collaboration required to move us all forward. Your input and feedback will be invaluable in shaping the policies that affect you on a daily basis.
The weighing of whether a ballot initiative is good or bad depends on the initiative being pressed and whether it is a positive thing for the people of Hawaii.
