Franklin Taylor Dupree, Jr. (1913-1995) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.[1]

Dupree was nominated by President Richard Nixon on November 30, 1970, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 11, 1970, and received commission the next day. He served as chief judge from 1979 until assuming senior status on December 31, 1983. He served until his death on December 17, 1995.[1]
