Franklin Township Community School Corporation Property Taxes (November 2009)
There were two Franklin Township Community School Corporation Property Taxes measures on the November 3 ballot in Marion County for voters in the township of Franklin. Both question were defeated.[1]
The first measure sought to enact a $.33 tax on property in the area in addition to those already in place. The tax would have been in place for seven years after it is voted into law and will help the general funds of the schools in the township. The second sought to enact a $.17 tax in addition on property in the area.[2]
