Zibilich ran for re-election to the Orleans Parish Criminal Court.
As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.

Zibilich defeated Glen A. Woods and Donald Sauviac, Jr. in the October 22 election for the Orleans Parish Criminal Court, winning 65.12 percent of the vote.[2][3]

Zibilich earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.[4]
Career
Before becoming a district judge, Zibilich worked in the City Hall Law Department for 24 years, at one point serving as chief deputy city attorney. He was often called to defend the police department in cases where officers are accused of using excessive force. He also ran a private law practice for 26 years and has taught trial advocacy at Tulane University's law school.[5][6]
