I am the proud Christian father of 3 kids. I’m the proud son of a single, hardworking mother. I have lived in Gwinnet, Georgia for 30+ years. I am the CEO of FTC Improvements, a home improvement company. In my life I’ve been a small business owner for multiple years and worked in the service and retail industry.
  • SAFER SCHOOLS You shouldn’t have to be afraid when you send your kid to school if they’re going to come home or not. There’s an increase in school violence over the past few years and we need to address and solve that issue. Our kids need to feel safe in the class room, halls, buses and locker rooms.
  • SAFER NEIGHBORHOODS On a simple level, it means no gangs, street racing, minimize illegal immigration, people feel safe in their community, people feel more comfortable talking to the police = more comfortability with police = support and strengthen community and law enforcement connections - my sister is a police officer so I understand both sides. I back the blue. Home owners over squatters.
  • LOWER TAXES It means giving a break to regular people. I want to focus on lowering property tax so mortgage payments will be lower. Lower property taxes mean lower mortgages means more money to spend on groceries and to pay other bills.

I’d cut gas tax, our GA government ended up with a surplus of taxes after almost half of last year of no gas tax then I say let’s make some cuts.

These two taxes more than most help everyday life because you’ll always have to buy gas and you’ll always have to pay your mortgage.
If people need help then the government should be able to help.
Politicians NEED to solve problems instead of keeping the problems around for job security.
Who do you look up to? Jesus Christ, Capt. Kirk, Donald Trump and my Mom.

Whose example would you like to follow? My Mom, She sacrificed to give me everything I needed.
This question is gonna make me sound old but the Constitution, the Patriot, It’s a wonderful life and Mr. Smith goes to Washington.
If there’s one thing I’ve noticed in my years watching how our government is run that is we have way too many executives and managers and not enough Workers that actually try and solve problems
Passion. Drive, Cool Temper, and the ability to look at problems from multiple angles with compassion.
I believe the most important responsibility is to realize that the elected officials are there to help people and the community not make it all about them

We need somebody that will fight for the people of this community and will be humbled by the people that they serve.
I would like to leave, Knowing I made thing better off then I found them.
I worked in a record store when I was 15. I worked there for 6 months before the manager got tired of the work restrictions put on by the school.
Well, I grew up on television so unfortunately, I have not read that many books, but I would have to say the Bible because it’s full of lots of very interesting stories with lots of great people and lots of not so great people.
Well, that is a tough one as I said I grew up watching a lot of television and movies, but I would say Captain Kirk because he seemed to always know what to do or I would say Rocky Balboa because he was always positive and optimistic and saw the good in everybody.
My youngest daughter is a huge K-pop fan so "Do it like that" by Tomorrow X Together and the Jonas Brothers
I’m divorced so there’s the obvious but raising my three daughters with an ex-wife and trying to teach good morals and humble values with all of the crazy technology in our finger tips.
I believe we are both there to serve and we need to come together and help the people of the state be independent not try and create dependency on the state.
I’ve been elected county delegate for Gwinnett county and I’ve also been elected state delegate for the state of Georgia

I do think it’s beneficial for state legislators to have experience in government or politics however, I also think sometimes you need to mix things up and get a fresh set of eyes on a problem to be able to fix it

Sometimes, if you’re too experienced, you are too removed to recognize the actual problems or see real solutions
I believe it’s crucial to build relationships with the other legislators . The only way to accomplish things in government is to work with others.
I was a supporter of Newt Gingrich I believe had a strong sense of trying to get corruption out of government spending.
I believe if we can somehow fix all the problems in Georgia then perhaps someday we could move on and try and fix the problems of the country
Twice in my life, I’ve had a mother and their children have temporary residence in my home, because they had fallen on hard times and had nowhere else to go.

I was frustrated finding that the government could not help them temporary housing for them and their families, even though they had met all the requirements, but they were turned away because they had too many other applicants in front of them.

Growing up with a single mom who was just trying to make ends meet, my heart went out to them and I opened my home.
Why do cows wear bells? Because their horns don’t work.... I guess you can tell. I’m a dad.
I believe they need to be checks and balances The state or country is not a dictatorship so yes, I think there should be oversight.
Direct lines of communication with the people and businesses in the district is important so the people know what the government is doing and so the government can make decisions based on the people's needs government officials are not to get rich. They are there to serve there districts.
