Fred Joly
Fred Joly (Republican Party) ran for election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 3. He lost in the Republican primary on May 24, 2022.
Joly was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 3 of the Alabama House of Representatives.
Biography
Joly earned his B.S. in management from the University of North Alabama and his M.S. in Human Resources from Houston Baptist University.[1] He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years in aircraft maintenance and retired with the rank of Major.[1]
Currently, Joly serves as a member of the Board Registrars for Colbert County, Alabama.[1]

Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Marcel Black was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Fred Joly was unopposed in the Republican primary. Black defeated Joly in the general election.[2][3][4][5][6]
