Fred T. Santucci was a judge on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. He began serving on this division in 1992.[1] Judge Santucci retired in 2010 upon reaching the mandatory retirement age.[2]

Education

Judge Santucci was born in 1934. He earned his undergraduate degree from Adelphi College in 1955 and his J.D. from New York Law School in 1957.[1][3]

Career

Judge Santucci worked as a lawyer in private practice from 1957 through 1973. He also served as legal counsel for two legislative committees at the New York Constitutional Convention in 1967. He became a judge on the New York City Civil Court in 1974. In 1979, he became a Supreme Court Justice. He was the Presiding Justice of the Medical Malpractice Panel Part from 1980 to 1987 and he served on the Appellate Term from 1988 to 1992.[1][3]
