Fred Schott

Fred Schott is a judge on the Seminole County Court Group 5. He was elected to this position on November 2, 2010. He was re-elected to a new six-year term in 2016.[1][2]

Thirty-nine of Florida's 67 county courts had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 101 seats up for election, 68 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 33 opposed races, only 15 saw more than two candidates file. [3]

2010
Schott received 36.5 percent of the vote in the primary. He then defeated Debra L. Krause with 51.39 percent of the vote in the general election.[1]
