Fred W. Copeland was a circuit court judge for the 34th Circuit Court in Missouri.[1] Copeland was elected as a circuit judge in 1988 and was re-elected in 1994, 2000, 2006, and 2012. He declined to seek re-election to the court at the end of his six-year term on December 31, 2018.[2]
Education
Judge Copeland earned his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.[3]
Career
Prior to serving on the bench as a circuit judge for the 34th Circuit Court from 1988 to 2018, Copeland served as an associate judge for New Madrid County from his appointment on January 15, 1982 until 1988. Copeland was an attorney in private practice prior to his appointment to the bench.[3]
