Four seats on the Frederick County Public Schools school board in Maryland were up for at-large general election on November 6, 2018. Because more than eight candidates filed to run in this election, a primary was held on June 26, 2018. In their bids for re-election, incumbents Liz Barrett, April Fleming Miller, and Brad Young advanced to the general election along with candidates Karen Yoho, Jay Mason, Cindy Rose, and Camden Raynor. As of June 27, the eighth candidate in the general election had not been declared because vote totals for candidates Kim Williams and Marie Fischer-Wyrick were too close to call. Chaz Packan, Edison Joseph Hatter, Jonah Seth Eisenberg, and Masai Troutman were defeated in the primary.[1][2]
