Frederick H. McDonald
Frederick H. McDonald was a judge on the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas in Toledo, Ohio. He joined the court in 1987 and was re-elected for the last time in November 2008.[1][2][3] McDonald retired when his term expired on February 8, 2015.[4]
Education
McDonald received his J.D. from Georgetown University.[1]
Military service
After graduating from law school, McDonald served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.[1]
Career
In 1970, McDonald returned to Toledo and worked as a staff attorney for the Toledo Legal Aid Society for three years. He then went to work at the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office and later became an assistant United States attorney. In 1986, McDonald became a judge for the Toledo Municipal Court and just a year later became a judge for the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas.[1]
