Frederick Sullivan
Frederick Sullivan was a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He joined the court on September 30, 2005, and was reappointed to the court on June 13, 2009.[1][2]
Education
Sullivan received his undergraduate degree from Providence College in 1966 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1971. In 1986, he earned a Master of Laws in taxation from Georgetown Law Center.[2]
Career
Sullivan began his career as an auditor with the United States General Accounting Office before attending law school. After receiving his law degree, Sullivan clerked with Judge George Revercomb. He spent his legal career in private practice, as a co-founder of the firm McCarthy & Sullivan.[2]
