Shall Fredonia Township impose an increase of one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for eight (8) years, 2012 through 2019, inclusive, for the purchase of new fire apparatus, which 1-mill increase will raise an estimated $50,000.00 in the first year the millage is levied?[3] |
