This measure sought to increase the current sales tax on marijuana products to a rate of 5 percent for one year in order to further pay for drug and alcohol programs, law enforcement costs and support drug facilities in the town.[2]
Current Statewide
A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
