Albion, New York: Attorney Paul D. Fuller is challenging Judge James P. Punch for a seat on the Orleans County Court in a September 14, 2010 Republican Primary election. He submitted enough signed petitions to challenge the incumbent Judge Punch into a primary election and to gain the Conservative Party line for the November 2nd general election. The contested position covers the Criminal, Family, Supreme and Surrogate courts of Orleans County.
Fuller is currently an assistant Monroe County attorney who works on civil cases. He has worked in the Monroe County District Attorney's Office for approximately 15 years. Judge Punch has served as a county judge since 1990, when he was elected to a 10-year term. He previously worked as the Orleans County District Attorney.
