G. Charles Bordis IV was a judge for the 16th Chancery District (Seat 3) in Mississippi. He was appointed by Governor Haley Barbour on February 21, 2009, and was re-elected in 2010.[1][2] Bordis originally filed to run for re-election in 2014, but withdrew from the race in May 2014. He retired from the bench at the end of his final term.[3]

Education

Bordis earned a bachelor's degree in government and political science from Nicholls State University. He went on to receive his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law.[4]

Career

Prior to his judicial appointment, Bordis spent five years as a solo practitioner. He was previously a partner with Sadler, Ranson & Bordis P.A. for 15 years.[4]

Elections

2010

Bordis was re-elected to the 16th Chancery District after running unopposed.[2][5]
