G. D. Morgan, Jr.
G. D. Morgan, Jr. is a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in South Carolina. He was elected by the South Carolina General Assembly on February 3, 2021. His term expires in 2027.[1]
Biography
Education
Morgan received a bachelor's degree from The Citadel and received a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to serving on the bench, Morgan worked for McCutchen, Blanton, Rhodes and Johnson and then worked for McAngus, Goudelock and Courie. Morgan also was a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Greenville County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.[1]
