G. R. "Lupe" Flores was a judge for the Jefferson County Court at Law No. 2 in Jefferson County, Texas.[1] He was elected to the court in 2002 and was re-elected unopposed on November 4, 2014. His last term commenced on January 1, 2015, and was to have expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3] On April 21, 2015, Flores passed away at the age of 65.[4]

Education

Flores received his undergraduate degree from Lamar University in 1971 and his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1974.[3]

Career

Prior to his judicial career, Flores served as a municipal judge in Beaumont, Texas, and maintained a solo practice. He also previously served as a prosecutor for the Jefferson County District Attorney's office.[3]
