Madison, Wisconsin: The disciplinary proceedings against Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman have been discontinued by the Wisconsin Judicial Commission. The Supreme Court ruling regarding Justice Gableman's alleged ethics violations resulted in an inconclusive 3-3 vote. The Judicial Commission stated that, "The opinions issued by the Supreme Court last week do not provide a conclusive resolution of this case and the Judicial Commission has concluded that it does not have legislative authority to pursue this matter further."[1][2]
