A Gahanna School District Levy Addition measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Gahanna school district area, which is in Franklin County.
This measure was approved
- YES 5,857 (56.84%)
- NO 4,448 (43.16%)[1]
This measure sought to add to the current levy set at a rate of 5.2 mills for a continuing period of time in order to pay for current operating expenses in the district.[2] On average, homeowners will pay around $159 a year in additional taxes to the school district. The district though noted that cuts to services and salaries will still likely happen even though this measure was approved.[3]
