Gail A. Donofrio is a judge for the 7th Judicial District Supreme Court in New York. She was elected to the court in 2012.[1][2][3]
Education
Donofrio received her B.A. degree from St. John Fisher College in 1981 and her J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1985.[1]
Career
Donofrio worked for the law firm of A. Vincent Buzard, Esq. from 1986 to 1996. She then served on the Pittsford Town Board until 1998. In January of 1999, she joined the Family Court. In 2006, she also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice, and an Acting Surrogate and County Court judge in Livingston County, New York.[3]
2012 election
Donofrio was elected to the 7th Judicial District Supreme Court in 2012. She was endorsed by the Republican, Conservative and Working Families parties. Donofrio won 27.03 percent of the vote in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
