Gail Chang Bohr
Gail Chang Bohr is a former Second Judicial District judge for Ramsey County, Minnesota. She was elected to this position on November 4, 2008, and took office the following January 5th.[1] Bohr retired on March 31, 2014, and then served as a senior judge until June 30, 2015.[2]
Education
Bohr received her B.A. from Wellesley College in 1966 and her M. Sc. in social work from the Simmons College School of Social Work. Prior to attending law school, she worked in clinical social work for 19 years. She then received her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1991.[1]
Career
Bohr began her legal career as a clerk for Justice Sandy Keith of the Minnesota Supreme Court and then as an attorney for the firm of Faegre & Benson LLP. From 1995 to 2008, she worked as the executive director of the Children's Law Center of Minnesota (CLC). She has received multiple awards for her work as a child advocate.[1]
