My name is Gaius but I go by kipi it’s my middle name, I graduated from pearl city high school in 2011 I live in Pearl City, I grew up in Pearl city I even worked at the Pearl city foodland for 10 years. I’m young, very talkative and I’d like to think I’m hard working. I’m very handy with tools, loves animals especially my dog Bella I try to take her everywhere I go and I think I’m a good son and a great grandson but I leave that opinion for discussion.
  • Active member in your neighborhood by picking up trash, seeing me on the bus, shopping at foodland or don quiote, eating at Sadie’s or getting shave ice at aunty Kaleis
  • Transparency won’t hide secrets because I simply ant keep a secret, what I know is what you’ll know
  • Your opinions and your needs before my own. I believe that who better to know how to make someone’s life easier is the person telling me what they need, most of pearl city is a older generation so you all know how the world should work and taking knowledge and advice from your elders influenced with my youth to take the steps to make it happen is something worth thinking about
This position is a small fish in a big pond but hopefully with my work ethic getting matters done in my district I will be able to move up in office and have more authority to make real changes in government and legal systems
I traveled to Europe and there was a king whose name is Constantine, his views I admired while reading the synopsis of each leader his belief wasn’t how can I grow my country to be more powerful or how can conquer more nations, I think it was in his diary’s he always questioned himself is he doing enough to make his people happy is he doing a good enough job. It seemed to me he was more concerned about being a great leader and a good person than being rich and powerful something you don’t see in many kings and or leaders
Vikings a show from National Geographic will display how a farmer became a king because he wanted a better life for his family and his people, there is violence but you will see the shift of a great leader and a poor leader
Honesty, Honor, Availability, Commitment, Consistency
I have no shame when I come to asking questions. Things need to be done who do I talk to and I begin the process, it maybe long lots of paperwork a lot of people pointing fingers at whoever job it is but I signed up for this and if it needs to be done I’ll get it done
To maintain and respect the district they are representing
That I was a good leader, that I earned the respect and loyalty of the people of Hawaii through my hard work and dedication
My first historical moment was watching my friend and classmate Ray Cooper III win the PFL championship belt in 2020 from my phone on my lunch break I think I was 26-27 that is something that I think is historic watching somebody from your neighborhood someone you know went school with on national television have his dream come true that should be written in pearl city history
I worked at beard papa in pearl city making cream puffs for 2 years before it closed down then moved to foodland
The Bible, its a book written by many people who likely will have an answer or a perspective you need
Maintaining the integrity of the district you represent and also unifying the community
If you have a problem with your neighbors trash, abandoned cars or even over grown grass and even a tree that’s destroying your house that’s on state property inform your representative
The job is to be a public servant, I have served the public for 10 years getting your needs and a local grocery store
Knocking on a refrigerator door. Why? Beacause a salad dressing. Lol
We should see where our tax dollars go with out question, and government officials should be held to the highest degree of accountability
Yes the sad thing is legislators drag there feet when it comes to bills or laws you want to make your vote count having state ballot initiative will increase voter responses
