Galen Clagett
Galen R. Clagett (b. February 9, 1942) is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 3A from 2003 to 2015. Clagett did not seek re-election in 2014.
He served on the Frederick County Commission from 1978 to 1986, including a stint as President from 1982 to 1986.
Biography
Clagett's professional experience includes working as a Broker with and Owner of Clagett Enterprises Incorporated, High School Administrator with the Frederick County Board of Education, Department Chair at Mount Saint Mary's College and Academic Instructor with the Maryland Department of Corrections.

On November 7, 2006, Galen Clagett ran for District 3A of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the second of two seats, losing to Sue Hecht but beating Patrick Hogan and Linda Naylor.[2]
