• I’ve lived the struggle: dropped out of college, became homeless, lost my job during the Great Recession, survived on SNAP and minimum wage. But I fought back and earned my degrees. I know how economic inequality destroys dreams. As costs soar, we need bold action: Universal Basic Income (UBI) for every Nevadan. Imagine a Nevada where everyone thrives from birth onward.
• I’m an independent Democrat with an unapologetically progressive platform: • Universal Baby Bonds • Universal Daycare • Universal Parental Leave • Universal Health Care • Universal Access to Higher Education & Technical Schools UBI or Nevada Permanent Fund—paid for by a value-added tax on mining corporations, not by squeezing working families.
• This isn’t just policy—it’s our promise. Together, we can build a Nevada where no one is left behind, where every person has the foundation to chase their dreams. The future we deserve starts now. Join us.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I dreamed of serving my country as a diplomat after 9/11, but economic inequality had other plans - college became unaffordable, I became homeless, and I found myself caught in a criminal justice system that punishes poverty rather than rehabilitates. We spend trillions nation-building abroad while our own citizens fall through the cracks. I believe we cannot be a beacon of democracy internationally if we don't practice economic justice at home. My work now focuses on rebuilding the domestic infrastructure of opportunity - ensuring that dreams are accessible regardless of economic status, transforming systems that exclude into ones that embrace, and bridging the gap between the America we claim to be and the America we actually are.
