There was a Ganges Township Rezoning Referendum on the November 3 ballot in Allegan County for voters in the township on Ganges.
This referendum sought to rezone an area of land to be commercial property. A group against this moved to petition the city council and were able to get enough signatures to put the rezoning to a vote. The area of land in question is next to other commercially zoned properties.[1]
