Gar Myers was a 2016 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from California.[1]

Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated California's U.S. Senate race as safely Democratic. California's U.S. Senate seat was open following the retirement of incumbent Barbara Boxer (D). Thirty-four candidates filed to run to replace Boxer, including seven Democrats, 12 Republicans, and 15 third-party candidates. Two Democrats, Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez, defeated the other 32 candidates to advance to the general election. Harris won the general election.[2][3]

  • Veterans: American military veterans have been mistreated and disrespected by the globalists that have found their way high up in the federal government. It's more than incompetence. It's cruel indifference that strongly appears to be designed to tarnish past heroes and real patriotism (versus the counterfeit form) in the impressionable eyes and hearts of the rising generation.
  • Military: America needs to rebuild it's military might and prowess and GAR as U.S. Senator will support reasonable funding to make the U.S. Military strong once again. Nothing is more provocative then weakness! GAR subscribes to Ronald Reagan's belief in peace through strength. We live in a very dangerous world.
  • Surveillance: The world is in turmoil and evil men with evil intentions with access to weapons of mass destruction are active, engaged and conspiring against the United States and the western world. Aggressive foreign intelligence is a necessary evil, if some interpret it this way. Sadly, due to lax immigration policy and enforcement, significant infiltration of the United States by globalist enemies has occurred.
  • Immigration: Illegal immigration is a national security issue first and foremost. It's also a threat to United States sovereigty. Some would invert the subordinate concerns of some hispanics, that some racism and discrimination against illegal Mexican immigrants exists, and make those concerns paramount. And no doubt to some degree and in some instances it is paramount. But not when full consideration of the macro challenges American faces in a New World Order leaning era.
